The project workspace brings project properties, the delivery plan, working files, related tickets, activity, and a project-scoped Chat into one view.

Use the Overview

The Overview can show the description, lead, dates, account, project properties, progress, hours, task and phase status, an AI summary, and learnings from completed work. Use it to answer:
  • Are scope and ownership still clear?
  • Is the project on pace for the target date?
  • Which phase or dependency is driving risk?
  • Are estimates and actual effort diverging?
  • What decision does the team need next?

Keep the Work Plan current

The Work Plan supports list, board, and timeline views. Organize work into phases and tasks with clear:
  • outcomes and acceptance criteria;
  • assignees;
  • estimates;
  • dependencies;
  • statuses;
  • target dates;
  • links to related tickets or source material.
A board is useful for flow and ownership. A timeline is useful for sequencing and dependencies. The list is usually the best place for detailed review.

Use Chat for decisions

Start Chat from the project so the work plan and project context remain attached. Useful questions include:
  • “Which dependency creates the most schedule risk?”
  • “Compare progress to the approved scope and list gaps.”
  • “Which tasks need customer input this week?”
  • “Draft a status update using confirmed facts only.”
  • “What did the most comparable completed project teach us?”

Run a project review

1

Review changes

Read Activity and recent files before relying on the current summary.
2

Inspect the critical path

Check blocked tasks, dependencies, and work without an owner.
3

Reconcile effort

Compare estimates, completed work, and the PSA’s authoritative time and billing records.
4

Record decisions

Update the work plan, dates, owners, and supporting notes so the next person sees the same state.
5

Communicate

Share the customer or internal status appropriate to the project.
Do not use an AI summary as a substitute for the current work plan, source files, or PSA record. Verify material dates, hours, and commitments.
