Terms that matter

Context is the ticket, project, account, organization, files, and connected records available to an agent. Action Plan is Forge’s structured understanding of a ticket and the steps it recommends. Runbook is an organization- or account-specific helpdesk procedure. Runbooks can guide people and background ticket work. Skill is reusable guidance for a defined task. A skill can include instructions, references, files, tests, and versions. Custom Agent is a configured background workflow with instructions, tools, scope, output, and optional quality judges. Ask mode is the read-oriented Chat mode. Full access can make allowed write tools available. Availability determines whether a tool may run in a specific surface such as Chat, Custom Agents, Helpdesk, or Project Plans. Approval is an interactive, one-time decision to allow or deny a particular tool call when policy requires it. Judge is an evaluation attached to a Custom Agent to score or monitor a run.
